About the Client 

MTN Shop is a global provider of industrial rigging, workwear and safety products for multi-industries. The company operates 4 Shopify Plus websites with over 10,000 products. MTN strives to provide its customers with high-quality products and services, be a leader in innovation and technology, and create a safe and healthy work environment.

Business challenges.

Website inefficiency and conversion: The websites suffered from a large number of bugs and slow loading speed, which negatively impacted the user experience and conversion rates. This resulted in lost sales, decreased customer satisfaction, and damaged brand reputation.
Lack of required functionality: The existing Shopify App Store did not offer all the features and functionality that MTN Shop required for their business. They needed a custom solution that could be developed to meet their specific needs.

The available Shopify apps did not provide MTN Shop with the precise set of features and functionalities they required to achieve their business goals. They sought a tailored solution that could seamlessly integrate with their unique business model and product offerings.

1. Advanced Product Options & Color Swatches:
Empowering users with extended product customization options and a visually captivating color swatch system, this feature can include additional fields for sizing, engraving, material selection, and color visualization from different angles. Ultimately, it provides a superior customer experience, leading to increased conversion and better control over product visual presentation.
2. Automated VAT Calculation System:
Significantly streamlining financial processes, this system automates Value Added Tax (VAT) calculation. It saves time, minimizes errors, and ensures accurate VAT calculation for different countries. As a result, administrative costs are reduced, tax reporting accuracy improves, and time is saved.
3. Automatic Synchronization via XML:
Guaranteeing seamless data synchronization between stores and product suppliers, this system utilizes an XML format, ensuring up-to-date information. This leads to efficient inventory management, data discrepancy elimination, and improved customer service.
4. Advanced Product Search and Filter App:
Greatly enhancing user navigation, this app offers a sophisticated search and filter application, enabling customers to find products more efficiently. It features keyword search, category, attribute, and price filtering, as well as sorting by newness, rating, and availability.
5. Apps based on Shopify Checkout UI Extensions:
Extending the checkout page functionality, these apps allow for additional custom fields, order details adjustments, and personalized messages. This increases customer loyalty, optimizes the checkout process, and boosts sales.
6. Custom Application for Monday.com work manager:
Offering a wide range of features, this app includes Gantt chart creation using data from diverse sources, as well as an alert subsystem for proactive identification and resolution of potential conflicts. Ultimately, it improves team productivity, optimizes workflow, and minimizes risks.
By crafting these custom apps, we significantly extended MTN Shop's website capabilities, making it more user-friendly, functional, and effective for the client and their customers. Website loading speed optimization
At the beginning of our cooperation with MTN Shop, the client faced the problem of slow loading speed of their website, which had a rather negative impact on conversion. Therefore, we conducted a Technical Audit of the website, which allowed us to identify weaknesses and the degree of their impact on the site's speed and create a roadmap for solving these problems.
 Throughout the entire development process, we used best practices that allowed us to optimize and maintain impressive website speeds. Constant monitoring of the store's performance using Google tools guided our efforts to improve loading speed. Using semantic and clean code, we prioritized a smooth and fast user experience. Image optimization further reduced loading times. 
In addition, with the help of a Shopify Expert, we found installed applications that negatively affected the speed and replaced them with alternative ones, which ultimately led to an increase in speed without losing the necessary functionality. 
As a result, we increased Google's speed scores from 20 to 85 for PC and from 16 to 60 for the mobile version.

Unlocking the power of the website with Shopify 2.0

In 2022, MTN Shop faced the critical requirement to update their Shopify theme to version 2.0 due to evolving platform functionalities and security measures. This necessitated a comprehensive theme redevelopment, ensuring seamless migration while preserving their valued brand identity.
Our team leveraged its extensive Shopify expertise to meticulously craft a migration roadmap and cost estimate, guaranteeing transparency and project efficiency. We diligently recreated all existing pages and sections, adhering to stringent Shopify theme requirements while incorporating client-driven design enhancements. Additionally, we developed new custom sections tailored to MTN Shop's specific business needs, optimizing user experience and driving conversions.
Following rigorous testing and validation, we seamlessly migrated the finalized theme version 2.0 to the MTN Shop website, ensuring minimal disruption to their online operations. We further streamlined the process by efficiently applying the updated theme to all affiliated stores, ensuring platform-wide consistency and improved user experience.
